About EAIF

EAIF RAAH is a non profit organisation that exists to mental healthcare more accessible. EAIF was founded in 2013 in response to the massive gap in aftercare services for vulnerable children who had faced some kind of trauma. We started our work in shelter homes but soon realised the need to democratise mental healthcare across schools, communities, other non profits and rural areas.

In India, there are only 3 mental health professionals for every 1 million people. It is no surprise then that many suffering with mental health issues are left without support.

We are on a mission to change this. To stop mental health from reaching a crisis point of no return. To reverse this ghastly statistic that 31 children are committing suicide every single day across India.

EAIF RAAH holds 80 G and Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA) status. Join us in our fight to de-stigmatise mental health and provide care to every individual who might need it.

Our Core Values

We care deeply about people.

We believe everyone deserves to have access to mental healthcare, the same way everyone has access to a physician.

We do not discriminate against anyone from any background.

We believe everyone has a story and the only way to stop hurt people from hurting people is by giving them a safe space to process their own trauma. We believe the cycle of abuse can end.

We envision an organisation where we affirm each other’s humanity, where we respect everyone's talents and ideas, value each other’s stance and visualise a world where mental healthcare is regarded as a vital part of our human rights.

We won't stop until we can provide everyone basic access to mental health support.

Our Strategy

Our team at EAIF Raah is dedicated to ensuring that all people receive the mental health support they need, when they need it. We understand that early intervention can prevent an emerging mental health need from becoming a crisis. That's why we offer a range of services, from evidence based school curriculums to individual and group therapy, to help people feel supported and heard.

The need for mental health support among youth is staggering, and it can feel overwhelming at times. At EAIF Raah, we recognize the gravity of the situation and work to provide timely and accessible support to those who need it most.

Together, we can make mental healthcare more accessible.
